Top Spots For Cherry Blossom Views Includes NJ Botanical Garden

RINGWOOD, NJ — If you’re looking for incredible springtime sights, Passaic County has some of the best cherry blossoms New Jersey offers, according to the state tourism division.

Visit New Jersey ranked the Garden State’s top 12 cherry blossom destinations, and the state Botanical Garden in Ringwood ranked No. 4. Check out these blushing blooms around the Manor House on the property.

Cherry trees and ornamental cherry blossom trees are closely related. But the former gets planted to yield fruit, while cherry blossoms are decorative and create a springtime spectacle. The blooms usually range from white to a rich pink, but can sometimes be yellow or green according to All About Gardens.

The New Jersey State Botanical Garden at Skylands is located at 26 Morris Road in Ringwood, and open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. while we are on Eastern Daylight Time. Admission is free.

The gardens are part of Ringwood State Park, and appears on both the State and National Registers of Historic Places.
