At Reviewed, we spend most of our workdays testing out products and reporting on the best deals and sales for our readers. While a moderate amount of self-control is necessary in order to perform our jobs, some discounts are so good, even we can’t pass them up. Admittedly, not every one of our heart’s desires is worth writing home about (we’ll spare you the details on our toilet paper preferences, as long as we can help you figure out where it’s in stock), but the list we’ve compiled below happens to be filled with the very best products we’ve found on sale during quarantine that are worth shouting from the rooftops.

1. Apple’s cult-favorite AirPods

I’ll admit that it took months of research and a sale for me to finally purchase a pair of AirPods. Despite reading plenty glowing reviews and longingly hovering over the ‘add to cart’ button, I couldn’t quite bring myself to finalize the purchase—until I saw that they were on sale, that is! I managed to nab them for $129.99, down $20 from $149.99, and you can do the same, since they’re currently on sale at Amazon for a similar low price of $129.

I received these Bluetooth earphones just a few days after purchase, and since then, they have seriously transformed my life. Wireless workouts have been a dream, and listening to music and taking calls while I work is a breeze. I especially love that the storage case also charges them, so they never run out of battery.

2. This trusty electric kettle

The functions on this thing are seriously impressive.
The functions on this thing are seriously impressive.

Truth be told, this was meant to be a present for my boyfriend, who loves his French press coffee to no end. That being said, it’s also right up there with my most-used things in quarantine. Between brewing water for tea to soothe any sore throat anxieties I might be having amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the quick boil (five minutes or less) it affords for a quick cup of coffee when I’m running late for my Zoom meetings, the Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle has been a Godsend.

It has a “stay warm” button on the handle that allows me to reap the benefits of any boiled water my significant other has already brewed, and it’s easy to pour in a safe manner—something that’s hugely important for a klutz such as myself. No wonder it earned our Editor’s Choice award for the best overall electric kettle! Though it’s worth every penny of its usual $99.99 price tag, you can save $20 right now when you get it at Kohl’s, where it drops from $119.99 to $99.99.

3. These life-changing noise-canceling headphones

Headphones on, noise out.
Headphones on, noise out.

Working a creative job is tough…working a creative job from home with three screaming banshee children is almost impossible. One day, I’d had enough and asked my coworker Lee what the best and most comfortable noise-canceling headphones were, and he directed me to the Sony WH-1000XM3s. They were on sale for $299 at Best Buy, so I ordered them for pickup one hour later.

I can now work in the living room with the kids, and they sound like they’re outside instead of just feet away. In fact, they sound so far away, they might be someone else’s kids, at someone else’s house, spin-jumping off of someone else’s battered couch. And for a brief moment, I forget that I’m a frazzled, sleep-deprived, sound-overloaded working mom, and it’s just me and my keyboard. They were worth every penny. Right now, you can nab them for an even lower price of $236.28 on Amazon, which is down from $348 (they’re also available at Newegg for $227, though you won’t get Prime shipping).

4. This super-soft tee

Chic and cozy, this top is ideal for working from home.
Chic and cozy, this top is ideal for working from home.

My daily quarantine uniform typically consists of the softest loungewear I can find, and American Eagle’s twist-front T-shirt was a top-notch investment in that department—albeit slightly elevated. Thanks to the fun, twist-front detail that somewhat crops the hem, it’s a cut above your average run-of-the-mill tee.

You can style this top with anything, but I’ve been pairing it with sweats, leggings and pajama shorts. Available in four colors (I grabbed it in white), this lightweight tee is currently 50% off, falling nearly $15 to just $14.97. Size availability ranges from extra-small to XXL, but I recommend sizing down if you don’t want it to be too baggy.

5. A handy tongue scraper for fresh breath

Say goodbye to stinky breath.
Say goodbye to stinky breath.

Ever noticed that icky white buildup at the back of your tongue? I had to realize the hard way that it’s actually a buildup of food, bacteria and debris—and a major cause of bad breath. Luckily, getting rid of it is simple. I turned to the MasterMedi tongue scraper to remove all that leftover gunk that was left behind, even after brushing and flossing. I love that it’s made from surgical-grade stainless steel so that it’s super easy to disinfect.

With this deal, you also get two scrapers for the price of one, so you can keep one at home and one in your bag. You’ll also receive two handy carrying cases to bring it with you while traveling. It has more than 7,300 glowing reviews from Amazon shoppers—myself included—and right now, it’s down $1.37 to just $7.12 when you click the on-page coupon beneath the price.

6. This adorable pint-sized Dutch oven

The perfect size for a solo meal.
The perfect size for a solo meal.

In late April, I bought this 1-quart cast-iron Dutch Oven from Le Creuset on sale for $125. It was a pure impulse purchase, but a great one. Turns out, the smaller size makes excellent banana bread loaves, and it’s perfect for cooking up two soft-boiled eggs for lunch. Plus, it looks so great on my stovetop that I pretty much just leave it out as decoration.

The blue color I bought doesn’t seem to be available anymore, but it looks like the company has this same size available in Cerise, Oyster, and Licorice. Though it’s no longer on sale, you can also get the same 1-quart size in a heart-shaped cocotte at QVC for $100, down from $150.

7. This pack of comfortable, breathable face masks

Save on our all-time favorite cloth face masks.
Save on our all-time favorite cloth face masks.

I’ve bought more than a dozen masks since the pandemic started, so I definitely didn’t need any more. But when I saw Athleta had a sale on the masks that won our vote for best overall in our testing, I couldn’t resist. For just $24, I got five triple-layered masks—and they immediately became my favorites. The adjustable ear loops make them so comfortable, and the material is breathable enough that I’ve been able to wear them on long walks outside this summer without feeling suffocated. If you want to save 20% on your own pack, you can enter promo code AP192CA4T2 at checkout. Just note that these masks are on backorder until Monday, August 17.

8. A pair of summery sandals

Show off your pedicure in these gorgeous, strappy heels.

I bought the Sam Edelman Daffodil sandals in the snake print after spying them in an Anthropologie deal I edited from our Senior Writer, Shayna Murphy. When they arrived, they were even better than expected. Not only were they far more attractive than the picture had hinted (perfectly covering my bunions, no less), they were of a far more expensive-looking material than I had expected to receive from a shoe I paid less than $50 for (just $39.98, to be exact)! I also found them extremely comfortable to walk in for long periods—a rare find in a heel this high. Though nearly sold out at Anthropologie, you can scoop the same pair up at Nordstrom right now in a bevy of colors from $49.98, which is a whopping 61% off their full list price. The snake pattern I bought is nearly sold out at both Anthropologie and Nordstrom, but you can find it in stock at Zappos.

9. Durable cookware from a trusted brand

All-Clad cookware doesn't have to cost a fortune.
All-Clad cookware doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

I bought the All-Clad MC2 10-inch frying pan and All-Clad copper core 4-quart sauce pot from the Factory Seconds Sale. Aside from some discoloration, it’s as good as any cookware I’ve ever had—in fact, it’s better than most. I haven’t asked this cookware to do much for me yet, but the pan has worked just fine for cooking eggs and sautéing vegetables, and the sauce pot heated up evenly with no noticeable hot spots when making a homemade tomato sauce. Sadly, the Factory Seconds Sale has since come to an end, but you can currently save an extra 20% on the 4-quart copper core sauce pot, normally $269.99, when you enter coupon code EXTRA at Williams-Sonoma to drop it to $215.99.

Add an eye-catching rug to your space for less.

After doing some house projects, we realized we needed to pick up a few new rugs, so we got matching 2-foot by 6-foot and 4-foot by 6-foot rugs at Rugs.com with rug pads, which were on sale for just under $150 with shipping. They feel great underfoot even without the pads, which is perfect for giving our kids more of a comfortable space to play in while stuck at home. The retailer’s Friends and Family Sale is still happening now, so you too can score up to 80% off, plus, you’ll get free shipping and free returns. As an added bonus, shoppers can take an additional 10% off with the purchase of two or more rugs.

11. An at-home, full-body exercise system

Bring the gym home to you.
Bring the gym home to you.

Having never done a suspension training workout before, I was initially on the fence about purchasing the TRX Home 2 Kit—would I actually use it? But when I saw the price drop from $199.95 to $184.95, and realized that it included a one-year subscription to the official TRX app, I figured it was worth a shot. I’ve only been using it for about a week, slinging it over my bathroom door and using my body weight as resistance for full-body workouts, but I’m already sold. I’m sore just about everywhere, and excited about continuing to exercise with TRX from the comfort of my own home.

12. This easy-to-use cold brew iced coffee maker

Save a little on your iced coffee habit.
Save a little on your iced coffee habit.

I’m a creature of habit, so certain things about quarantine life—like getting to wear my favorite L.L.Bean mocs everywhere—are fantastic. One thing I’ve been seriously missing though? My morning coffee ritual. And I don’t just mean drinking coffee. I mean heading to my favorite local shop and grabbing an iced coffee to-go. When I initially found Takeya’s deluxe cold brew iced coffee maker on sale, I jumped on it. It wasn’t just the drop in price (you can currently save $3 on it at Macy’s and Amazon to get it for the same, low price I paid—$16.99—instead of its usual $19.99), or the fact that it’s the best cold brew iced coffee maker we’ve ever tested that sold me. No, for me, the biggest selling point was that it offered me a way to ever-so-slightly get a piece of my morning coffee ritual back. That, and making cold brew the regular way seemed like far too much effort. A device that pretty quickly does it for me? Sign me up, baby.

13. This cozy jogger set

Zoom and couch-approved.
Zoom and couch-approved.

As someone who loves to be comfy, adjusting to a work-from-couch lifestyle wasn’t too challenging for me. To be honest, getting to spend my entire day in sweatpants has been a major upside to quarantine living. I prefer not to feel like a complete scrub though, which is why I stay on the lookout for cute loungewear on sale. One of my favorite outfits has been a chic matching sweatshirt and jogger set that I snatched up at Abercrombie for 50% off in the cream color. In it, I can still look cute and stylish for the occasional Zoom meeting, and more importantly, I can remain cozy. Right now, Abercrombie is offering 30% off your purchase, so the pullover and pants together will cost you just $54.88 rather than the usual $98, though stock is extremely limited on the bottoms.

14. Madewell everything

Save big with this Madewell sale.

Ah, Madewell, my sweet Madewell. This is one of my favorite places to shop with or without a sale, but when I can actually save some money on one of the brand’s gorgeous tote bags or denim jackets, I’m all about it, friends. The retailer ran a few sales recently, but the one that’s still happening, which offers extra 30% off all sale items with promo code WHATADEAL through August 3 is seriously killer. You can grab a ton of cute styles to round out that ’90s look that’s oh-so on-trend right now, including this comfy pocket tee dress ($34.65, save $27.35), a pretty patterned slip skirt ($48.99, Save $49.01) and a whole lot more. Just note that the pocket tee dress is even cheaper in green at Bluefly.

15. A flattering dress in an array of colors

Nordstrom shoppers go crazy for this simple ruched dress.
Nordstrom shoppers go crazy for this simple ruched dress.

This Leith ruched bodycon dress, regularly $56 and currently on sale for $39.90, is seemingly adored by nearly every shopper on Nordstrom—it’s got more than 3.5K glowing reviews—and comes in nearly every shade of the rainbow. In order to find out what all the fuss was about, I picked one up in the medium charcoal heather hue during the last big Nordstrom sale. It was immediately apparent why this dress is such a favorite. Not only is it extremely versatile—I can wear it as is during the day or dress it up with a little leather moto jacket at night—it strikes a great balance of being appropriate for both work and play. The gentle ruching at the sides keeps it from being basic and its slim, bodycon fit is extremely flattering. I plan to buy it in red the next time it’s back in stock!

In refugee camps as well as lockdown, gardening helps pass time in limbo

Author provided During lockdown, my family’s cul-de-sac became our universe.
