With this new injection of funds, Smarter Dharma is set to expand its footprint across the nation
Bengaluru-based startup Smarter Dharma, focused on reducing carbon footprints in real estate, secured USD 500,000 in seed funding. The investment, led by Zerodha’s Rainmatter, Gruhas and Anthill Ventures, aims to bolster Smarter Dharma’s mission of enhancing sustainability within the real estate sector.
The company claim that to date it has reduced over 50,000 ton of CO2 emissions while creating value for their clients. With this new injection of funds, Smarter Dharma is set to expand its footprint across the nation, it said in statement.
Sriram Kuchimanchi, Founder and CEO of Smarter Dharma, said that the fresh fundraise will enable the scaling of their technology platform and business development team across the country. He added that the company is aiming to mitigate a billion ton of C02 emissions by 2030
Smarter Dharma’s approach integrates data analytics and patented machine learning algorithms to support real estate firms in achieving net-zero goals. In addition to its existing work, the startup plans to launch a marketplace offering sustainable materials and solutions tailored to the real estate sector.
