Fleming will serve as chief revenue officer for ONIT Home Service and its vertical brands. The company will also add several key members of Protect America’s operations team.
DALLAS — ONIT Home Service announces former Protect America CEO Scott Fleming will be joining the company in Q3 of this year.
Fleming was a central part of Protect America’s growth and recent bulk-account acquisition with Brinks Home Security.
After working together for years as a strategic partner, Scott will be taking on the role of chief revenue officer for ONIT Home Service, overseeing all vertical brands:
- ONIT Smart Home: Home security & automation
- ONIT Energy USA: Solar energy
- ONIT Water: Water treatment & purification
- ONIT Insurance Group: Home & auto insurance
- ONIT Concierge: Cable, satellite, internet & utility relocation services
- ONIT Roofing & Construction: Commercial & residential roofing & insulation
- ONIT Shield: Identity & Cyber Security (est. Q4/2020)
“We’ve been working with Scott and his team from Protect America for a couple years now and we know this will be a great fit for ONIT” says Curtis Kindred, CEO of ONIT Home Service. “They will be bringing in years of experience in the digital marketing space which will help us to grow all of our verticals, nationwide.”
In addition to Fleming, ONIT will also add several key members of Protect America’s operations team including executives, developers and critical marketing personnel. This team will be working to refine and develop a more robust online presence and brand while enabling omni-channel lead monetization, according to the company.
“Joining the ONIT team is an honor. In a short period of time ONIT has built a compelling platform poised to capitalize on the growing $100 billion home service industry. You must have the best talent to build a great business. Combining the best of both ONIT and Protect America is a very special opportunity,” says Fleming.
ONIT rebranded from American Defense Systems earlier this year. The company says it will be scaling up more full-time employees to meet demand, hiring another 50 representatives and opening a second call center in Bedford, Texas to manage the increased inbound activity.
